Din Tai Fung is a renowned Taiwanese restaurant known for its exceptional service and delectable cuisine. With an automated queue system, the restaurant efficiently manages long waiting times, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all patrons. The dedicated and friendly serving staff have earned their reputation, providing attentive service even to solo diners. The restaurant is particularly known for its tantalizing chicken soup, made with a simple yet flavorful chicken stock.
Din Tai Fung offers a diverse menu, with standout dishes including the duck pastry, wanton superior soup, and beef noodles. While the pork xiao long bao is a popular choice, regular visitors often recommend the pork and prawn xiao long bao for its superior taste. The pork cutlet fried rice, although a favorite among many, may not appeal to those prefer heavier flavors. Moreover, the restaurant is accommodating, allowing guests to order a single steamed bun for a minimal price.
Consistency is key at Din Tai Fung, with standardized experiences and food quality maintained across all outlets. Located at 1 North Point Drive B1, #107, Singapore, the restaurant operates from Thursday to Wednesday, offering a range of dining hours to suit different schedules. Din Tai Fungs price level falls within the moderate range, offering a worthwhile culinary experience without breaking the bank.

Reviews
DTF never fail to deliver quality taste and value for money.
HOWEVER, recently we noticed how the menu always ran out of popular items even tho its only lunch time. Today it was the siew mai that was out of stock, once it was the 10pcs of XLB. That on top of the ginger served on limited portion/serving per pax. Because of this I have to hold back 1 🌟
After the digital queueing system, waiting time has been bearable.
Despite the small inconveniences, we still often come back 😋.
It's the usual DTF food, standard quality, which I guess is the beauty of DTF, they are always consistent.
It’s a long long wait as with probably all DTF outlets. But the queue system is good and automated. The serving staff have been here for a long time. Very friendly and efficient. Even though I was dining alone, I never felt harried by the staff.
The service staff is also very kind and very helpful. When the appetizer that I wanted was sold out, they remembered that I wanted it and came to me when a fresh batch was made. Amazing memory considering that the place was so crowded with patrons. I love their chicken soup, simple and unadulterated chicken stock. So good especially when I was feeling a little under the weather.
Good food as usual. Experience and food is usually standardized across all outlets. If you come here ordering the egg fried rice with pork chop and xiao long bao is a nobrainer, but generally most of the food served here is decently good. Price may be a little on the high end but it is quite worth it for both the service and the food. The service is top notch and the waiting time was shorter than expected (initially the waitress explained that it would take around 30-40 min to prepare the xiao long bao but it turned out to be much faster than that). For this outlet, business is booming and the restaurant seems to be quite full even outside lunch and dinner hours. During lunch and dinner hours especially on weekends, there is a queue and long waiting time.
Good Taiwanese food Restaurant with a feel of fine dining.
When craving for XLB, Din Tai Fung is always the 1st choice.
It's been a long time since I had Din Tai Fung and I'm glad to find that the standard has remained consistently good over the years. The trouble is everything here is good but I know of other restaurants that do each same dish much better - such is the cutthroat competition in the food and beverage industry where other restaurants copy each and every dish and improve the recipe. Nonetheless this is a good place to come if you want everything good under one roof but just don't expect that they serve the best version of each and every dish out there.
I like duck pastry, wanton superior soup and beef noodles from DTF. Tried the pork XLB today, and still think the pork & prawn XLB I usually order is much better. The pork cutlet fried rice here is v popular, but the rice soso as I prefer a heavier taste. Pork cutlet is good, v tender. I used to like the fried prawn pancake, it is nice but not worth it given it is really thin and has little ingredients. Service over here always excellent👍🏼☺️.
